Talc Manufactures in India

Talc is the world's softest and most hydrophobic mineral. It adds new features to products that use it as a raw material and makes processes more efficient. It's salient features help it act as the most effective filler material. While it is already used in various applications, constant research in the field of its usage is unravelling its wider usage and advantages. Jai Group is consistently focussed towards developing the best quality talc as per our customer needs. Not only do we develop talc grades tailored for maximum performance, but also ideal logistics, packaging and commerciality concepts to go with it.

We started the company with talc as the only product and mined the soapstone and have built processing capabilities that can deliver the final product (Talc) with whiteness ranging from 80% to 97% and fineness from 75 micron (200 mesh) to 10 micron(1250 mesh). Having a very rich experience in handling this product we can cater to most of its applications, with main focus on Paint, Paper and Polymer industries.

Calcium Carbonate Manufactures in India

Calcium carbonate, or CaCO3, comprises more than 4% of the earths crust and is found throughout the world. Its most common natural forms are chalk, limestone, and marble, produced by the sedimentation of the shells of small fossilized snails, shellfish, and coral over millions of years. Although all three forms are identical in chemical terms, they differ in many other respects, including purity, whiteness, thickness and homogeneity. Calcium carbonate is one of the most useful and versatile materials known to man.

Quartz Suppliers in India

Quartz is a chemical compound called silicon dioxide. Quartz is also known as a ubiquitous mineral with an enormous number of uses.

It is chemically inert in contact with most substances. It has electrical properties and heat resistance that make it valuable in electronic products. Its lustre, colour and diaphaneity make it useful as a gemstone and also in the making of glass.  This makes it a very essential mineral in our day-to-day life. Quartz is highly resistant to both mechanical and chemical weathering. This durability makes it the dominant mineral of mountaintops and the primary constituent of beach, river and desert sand.

After being processed to quartz sand < 600 μm, the quartz is used in the manufacture of glass; for special paints (road building); in foundries as moulding sand; in adhesives for the ceramics industry; in sand blasting equipment; for sanding sports stadiums; etc. Even finer in the < 80 μm range with a steep particle size distribution is found in ceramic base compounds, and at a fineness of < 20 μm in glazes.

Mica Powder Suppliers in India

A natural occurring mineral that is based on a collection of silicate minerals and composed of varying amounts of potassium, iron, aluminium, magnesium and water is Mica. It is found having thin sheet-like or plate-like structure with various composition and physical properties. High in silica, this stone has the extensive capacity to remain elastic and tough even at high temperatures. India is the largest producer of Mica in the world and pioneered into exporting this mineral worldwide years ago.

Jai Group started business with exporting Mica to Russia and other Eastern European countries. One of the first to start the trade back in the 1950's, we have vast experience in the commercial usability of the mineral.
Applications

The highest level of silica content in it makes it the most preferred mineral to be used in various industries and also for other personal uses. Among many other industrial uses, the most prominent uses of our Mica include:

It is used in paints as a pigment extender and also helps to brighten the tone of coloured pigments. It is vastly used as fillers, extenders along with providing smoother uniformity, improving workability and prevents cracking.
In the electrical industry the same as thermal insulation, and electrical insulators in electronic equipment

Kaolin Suppliers in india

Kaolin is a form of clay. Structurally, kaolin is a platy mineral. The mined and sorted kaolin is then subject to processing by a wet route to produce processed kaolins with desired properties for various applications.

Kaolin is termed as hydrous when the kaolin has the bound water molecule. The presence of water imparts specific properties that are useful for certain industrial applications. They are generally used as fillers in the paper, paint, glass and rubber industries. To lose the water molecule and improve colour, the hydrous clay is subjected to high temperatures and the process in known as calcination. The product is termed as calcined clay. By controlling the calcination temperature, Metakaolin (550–900°C) can be produced. Metakaolin has applications in cement, rubber, cables & ultramarine blue.

As a functional extender in paints, Kaolin offers the following benefits to the formulation:

  •     Cost Reduction

  •     Increased Opacity

  •     Matting efficiency

  •     Increased Gel strength

Barites Suppliers in India

Barites is also called Barium Sulphate (BaSO4). In India, this product is concentrated in Andhra Pradesh and Rajasthan regions.

It's most striking feature is its heaviness. The specific gravity, or weight per unit volume, is 4 to 5, which is about twice that of the most commonly available industrial minerals. This high specific gravity makes it very useful in many industries. Barites can occur in numerous colours; white, brown, yellow, red and gray are most common. The colours are the result of impurities such as iron, strontium and lead, and mineral contaminants such as clay and sand. Barite is insoluble in water and is resistant to acid attack.
Applications

The largest application for barite is as a weighing agent in natural gas and oil field drilling muds. The density of barite helps in down-hole flow and bit lubrication. One of its industrial end uses is as a weighing agent additive in paper, cement, rubber and urethane foams. It is used in paint and powder coatings for metal protection, insulation and processing improvement. Barite is also used in friction products such as brake pads and clutch surfaces.
Barites Products

Barite ore is ground to a range of products of the different sizes needed for the variety of applications. Most commercially available products are 500 or 325 mesh, although finer products are also available. The ore at Jai's disposal can offer brightness upto 95%. The ore is selected and the process is controlled for one or more of the following properties: colour, particle size, specific gravity and bulk density.
